Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture

The Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture teaches a four year program in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture. ITEA is accredited by ACAOM, the national accrediting agency for Acupuncture in the USA*. The Master of the Lineage, Judy Worsley, teaches each year. Hilary Skellon, daughter of J.R. Worsley, is its Director. Upon completion of its program, graduates receive the degree of Master of Acupuncture in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture.

Applicants must have at least 76 semester credits of college level courses. Students are free to live anywhere for the first two years of the program, and must relocate to Louisville, Colorado for the last clinical years.

Student Loans are available in the form of Federal Stafford Loans and Federal Graduate PLUS Loans. Call or visit the ITEA website for more information.

* ACAOM is the recognized accrediting agency for the approval of programs preparing acupuncture and oriental medicine practitioners. ACAOM is located at Maryland Trade Center, 37501 Greenway Center Drive, Suite 802, Greenbelt, MD 20770.

LIFEA offers a three year professional training in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture. We are currently at Stage One of the accreditation process with the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board. Students will receive a Licentiate in Acupuncture (Lic.Ac.) on successful completion of the course.
