Her acupuncture studies commenced in England under the personal tutelage of Professor J.R. Worsley and in 1974 she gained her Licentiate in Acupuncture from the College of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, UK (CTA). Following that degree, Judy earned Bachelor, Master and the Doctorate Degree.

Since the early 1980s she has, with her husband, Professor J.R. Worsley, travelled extensively across America conducting training seminars (for students and teachers) and consultations for patients.

With Professor J.R. Worsley she founded the Master Apprentice Program™ (MAP™) in 1997 to continue the Classical Five-Element Acupuncture tradition.

Professor J.R. Worsley’s classical teachers Ono and Hsui bestowed the rare and honoured classical designation of “Master” upon Professor J.R. Worsley in 1950. Professor Worsley has since designated Judy as “Master”.

Born and raised in Coventry, England, Professor J.R. Worsley studied Physiotherapy while serving as an army education officer in charge of Colleges of the North West Command. After the war, he practiced Physiotherapy and studied and practiced Osteopathy, Naturopathy and Chinese Acupuncture. At that time it was not possible to receive professional qualifications in Chinese acupuncture in the West. In the early 1950’s he journeyed to Taiwan, Singapore and Korea and received his Doctorate of Acupuncture. His Classical Five-Element Acupuncture teachers Ono and Hsui bestowed the rare and honored classical designation of "Master" upon him.

He founded the College of Traditional Acupuncture, UK, in 1956, the Traditional Acupuncture Institute, USA, in 1974, the Worsley Institute of Classical Acupuncture, USA, in 1988 and the Master Apprentice Program (MAP™) in 1997. He was also associated with other schools in the United States, United Kingdom, France and Norway.

Since the early 1980s he and his wife, Judy Becker Worsley, J.D., D.Ac., traveled extensively across America, conducting seminars and consultations.

Professor Worsley consulted in various medical centers in America and lectured throughout the United States, France, Spain, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Poland, India, Japan, Taiwan, Hong King, Thailand, Canada and Switzerland.

His tireless dedication was focused on consulting, teaching, developing a video library of his work and a new edition of the Point Location Textbook (Vol I) and the Spirit of the Points book. He wrote articles for medical journals and appeared many times on television programs teaching Classical Five-Element Acupuncture throughout the world.
